Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data, and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers' demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control. We are looking for a Telecom Site Acquisition Contract Manager who will own and be responsible for the project management of the full life cycle of all assigned agreements from inception to post-execution maintenance. This position is based in Richardson, TX, and is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The pay for this position ranges from $45 to $52 per hour, depending on years of experience, and the duration is expected to be 6 months or longer. In this role, the incumbent will lead negotiations for the client's business to secure wireline network agreements. The Telecom Site Acquisition Contract Manager must be able to accomplish work autonomously and, at times, with minimal direction, which may include making recommendations on business decisions and contractual terms and conditions to ensure they meet the client's business objectives. Daily responsibilities include negotiating terms and conditions for wireline facility agreements with utilities, municipalities, private landowners, carriers, and government entities. The manager will also draft, review, and revise standard contract provisions for various agreements, including conduit acquisitions, dark fiber leases, and railroad agreements. Additionally, the manager will secure and manage contracts of varied scope and complexity, allowing the client to utilize major rights of way for the installation and operation of fiber network projects. This includes managing the structure access request process under the Telecom Act and researching company rights to negotiate standard form reimbursement agreements with various entities. The role requires effective management of existing agreements, bonds, certificates of insurance, and letters of credit, including agreement renewal and payment authorization.
