Responsibilities

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment, aligning with the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Manage and process requests related to modifications in telephony systems, ensuring these changes meet user needs while minimizing system disruptions.
  • Understand the overarching departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and recognize how these strategies interlink with responsibilities.
  • Exhibit confidence in making decisions about work methods, especially in occasionally ambiguous situations.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and procedures to maintain consistency and reliability in operations.

Requirements

  • Less than 5 years of experience in an IT / Telecommunications support role, preferably with direct experience interacting with voice communication systems.
  • Experience in an IT support role, preferably with direct experience interacting with voice communication systems.
  • Experience with voice communication systems such as Avaya, Genesys Cloud, or ServiceNow.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical aspects of telecommunications systems and vendor capabilities.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a Tel/Voice administrator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other stakeholders/customers.
  • Strong analytical abilities to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
