About the position

The Telecommute Mental Health Therapist at Lyra Health Inc is responsible for providing short-term, evidence-based mental health treatment via live video sessions. This role emphasizes culturally responsive care and involves maintaining a diverse caseload of clients with varying mental health needs. Therapists will utilize Lyra's innovative digital care platform to enhance client outcomes and will have access to ongoing training and peer support to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clients with varying clinical needs.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learning and monitor outcomes.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training to enhance clinical skills.
  • Utilize expert consultation and support for complex client cases.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
  • Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (30 potential bookable spots).
  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
