About the position

Nassau Psychology PC is seeking licensed mental health professionals, including Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), and Licensed Marriage Family Therapists (LMFT), to join their established group psychotherapy practice. The role offers flexibility to work either remotely or in-office, providing psychotherapy and psychoeducation to a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, children, and couples. The practice emphasizes a collaborative environment where therapists can focus on clinical work while administrative tasks are managed by the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and psychoeducation to clients of various ages and backgrounds.
• Utilize psychodynamic, gestalt, and family systems theories in treatment.
• Integrate CBT, mindfulness, and other practices for symptom relief.
• Participate in peer consultation and case conferences.
• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective treatment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Independent professional license in New York State (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, MHC-LP).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychotherapy.
