About the position
The Telemetry LPN is a part-time position at St. Joseph Medical Center, responsible for providing essential nursing care and monitoring to patients in the telemetry unit. Responsibilities
- Provide essential nursing care and monitoring to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Ensure telemetry monitoring equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes.
- Record and interpret vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
- Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to report any changes in patient condition.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
- IV certification upon hire (state specific).
