About the position

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Johnson City, Tennessee. This role involves working night shifts for a duration of 8 weeks, providing high-quality nursing care in a telemetry setting. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent experience in telemetry nursing or a similar specialty.
• Valid nursing license as required by the state of Tennessee.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
