About The Position

Participate in daily editorial process: planning, researching, newsgathering, logging, writing and editing. Learn editorial and technical aspects of news gathering. Shadow producers and assignment editors. Produce individual news stories for demo reels and online. Participate in studio anchor session. Research viewer calls and tips and assist on the assignment desk. Create individual special project opportunities.

Requirements

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Need to be able to work on-site in Needham MA.

Nice To Haves

• Background in Journalism or Broadcast Journalism, Digital/New Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Production, English, Social Media, Research.
• Some experience in journalism, preferably in a television newsroom setting.
• Previous internship experience or on-campus involvement.
