About the position

The Telephone Recruiter plays a crucial role in the recruitment process for an ongoing medication adherence study at Tulane University. In addition to direct recruitment efforts, the Telephone Recruiter will collaborate with the study team to identify and implement effective strategies aimed at increasing participant recruitment. This may involve brainstorming new outreach methods, utilizing social media, or engaging with community organizations to broaden the recruitment pool. The recruiter will also support student research assistants in their recruitment activities, providing guidance and assistance as needed to enhance their effectiveness in engaging potential participants. The role requires meticulous management of databases containing information about potential participants and tracking recruitment calls. This includes maintaining accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and participant statuses to ensure that the recruitment process is organized and efficient. The Telephone Recruiter will play a vital part in the success of the study by ensuring that recruitment goals are met and that participants have a positive experience from their first contact with the study team.
