About the position

The Telephonic Case Manager role at Genex Service LLC involves working remotely to assist injured or disabled individuals in their recovery process. The position focuses on creating and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare providers, employers, and legal representatives, ensuring that patients receive appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services. This role is integral to helping individuals return to work and achieve maximum medical recovery while providing opportunities for meaningful impact and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competency in the application of case management standards of practice.
  • Use advanced knowledge of types of injury, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, and treatment alternatives to advise on a treatment plan.
  • Interview disabled persons to assess overall recovery, including whether injuries or conditions are occupational or non-occupational.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians/providers and utilize available resources to help create and implement treatment plans tailored to an individual patient.
  • Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties where practical to facilitate early return to work.
  • Evaluate and modify case goals based on patient progress.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in case management or related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Compact Multistate RN license and CCM preferred.
