About the position

The Teller/Customer Service Representative at Reliabank is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with various banking transactions, both in-person and over the phone. This role involves opening new accounts, conducting transactions, and promoting bank products while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist new and existing customers as they enter the bank.
  • Conduct a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, money orders, savings bonds, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and loan transactions.
  • Open new demand deposit accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and IRAs for customers as needed.
  • Sell additional products to customers and participate in various retail product campaigns initiated by the bank.
  • Refer customers to appropriate bank staff as needed.
  • Perform services in accordance with bank standards, policies, and procedures regarding document inspection, signature and amount verification.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Banking experience preferred.
