About The Position

Requirements

• 6 months of cash handling experience and a good balancing record.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Ability to work 40 flexible hours per week including Saturdays.
• Excellent customer service skills while handling a variety of duties.

Responsibilities

• Accept and process deposits and withdrawals on commercial, personal, and savings accounts.
• Cash various types of checks according to established policies.
• Count, sort and package currency and coin.
• Prepare and fill change orders for commercial customers.
• Prepare and sell cashier's checks, money orders, and travelers checks.
• Activate ATM pin numbers for customers when needed.
• Prepare end of day information for tax payment remittance, MasterCard/Visa transactions, official check report, traveler's checks, and all other applicable transactions.
• Balance cash daily following standard procedures.
• Handle and adjust minor problems or complaints from customers; answer requests for routine information and direct inquiries to proper department.
• Make referrals of bank's services to new and existing customers.
• Buy and sell money to stay within assigned cash limit.
• Help process work from night depository.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
