About the position

The Teller at Park Community Credit Union plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality member service by processing financial transactions, addressing member inquiries, and maintaining accurate member records. This entry-level position emphasizes teamwork and compliance with internal procedures while promoting financial well-being among members.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Sell money orders and travelers checks to members.
• Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
• Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions according to credit union policies and guidelines.
• Cross-sell credit union services to members.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks including ATM duties, completing logs and reports, typing, filing, and answering the telephone.
• Follow security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to the manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills including ten key typing.
• Entry-level experience of less than one year.
