About the position
LMCU is seeking a part-time Teller I responsible for processing member transactions, including cash and check processes, deposits, transfers, and loan payments. The role involves assisting members with account maintenance, ensuring compliance with security procedures, and collaborating with branch staff to enhance member services and cross-sell products.
Responsibilities
- Independently receives and processes customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Follows check procedures and ensures accuracy in all transactions.
- Educates and supports members to utilize LMCU Online Banking Portal.
- Provides exceptional member service and contributes ideas to improve member experience.
- Completes voided transactions, account maintenance, and processes disputes and stop payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborates with branch staff to effectively cross-sell products and services.
- Follows established procedures for check holds and outgoing funds.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
- Cash handling and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
