About the position
The Teller position at Westamerica Bank involves providing quality customer service and promoting bank services and products under direct supervision. The role requires adherence to established standards for accuracy and compliance while contributing to team success through effective communication. Tellers are expected to meet sales goals and assist with daily operational tasks, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality service to external customers following the 5 points of service.
- Adhere to QIS standards and contribute to team success through effective communication.
- Promote sales of bank services and meet the sales goal of $110/FTE per month on average.
- Cross-sell appropriate products and services to clients and prospects.
- Meet established standards for accuracy and compliance, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Support daily operational tasks as directed by the CSM, including processing Branch Capture and balancing the ATM and Vault.
- Exercise good judgment in protecting bank assets while providing excellent customer service.
- Complete regulatory tutorials to ensure understanding of compliance standards.
Requirements
