About the position

As a Teller at M&T Bank, you will serve as the face of the bank, providing excellent customer service and building relationships with clients. Your role will involve processing transactions, educating customers about available products and services, and supporting various operational needs within the branch. The position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile.
• Listen to customers and understand their needs.
• Educate customers on products and services available to them.
• Accurately and efficiently process teller transactions.
• Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance-related tasks.
• Support a diverse environment that supports the M&T Bank brand.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including either cash handling or data entry experience.
