About the position

The University of New Mexico Los Alamos is seeking Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach Digital Media Arts courses at the 100 or 200 level. This role involves teaching both online and face-to-face classes, with positions contingent upon student enrollment and course offerings each semester. Faculty members will be responsible for all aspects of their classes, including content delivery, assignment development, grading, and assessment of student learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach Digital Media Arts courses at the 100 or 200 level, either online or face-to-face.
• Develop course content and assignments.
• Grade assignments and report grades in a timely manner.
• Assess student learning as outlined by the Program Coordinator.
• Meet with students during assigned class times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Arts or a related discipline; or a combination of education, training, and tested experience equivalent to four years.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success.

• Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution
