About the position

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a part-time Temporary HR Professional to support the Applicant Resource Center. This role involves providing guidance to applicants on the application process, assisting with resume creation, and troubleshooting technical issues related to the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to external and internal candidates
  • Help candidates navigate the Jobs @ UIowa site and recommend suitable positions
  • Assist in drafting resumes and applications
  • Support candidates with the formal application process within the Talent Acquisition portal
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to system errors or login problems
  • Assist with communication between candidates and hiring managers when necessary
  • Perform various tasks assigned during the recruitment process

Requirements

  • 6 months to one year of experience in human resources
  • 6 months to one year of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in computer software and applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
