The Social Media Content Creator at Brooks Sports, Inc. is a temporary role focused on developing and producing engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels. This position aims to enhance brand awareness and foster community engagement through creative storytelling and trend-savvy content creation. The role requires a strong understanding of social media dynamics and the ability to produce high-quality videos using an iPhone, while collaborating with the marketing team to maintain a consistent content calendar.

Responsibilities

• Concept, shoot, and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, keeping up with the latest trends, audio styles, and transitions.
• Produce dynamic, eye-catching videos directly on an iPhone, focusing on high-quality, platform-specific content that aligns with brand goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute monthly content calendars, ensuring a steady stream of fresh, relevant, and timely video content.
• Monitor TikTok and Instagram for trending sounds, challenges, and formats to inspire new content ideas.
• Regularly analyze the performance of TikTok and Reels content, providing insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and virality.
• Engage with the TikTok and Instagram communities by identifying comments, messages, and mentions quickly and authentically.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative video concepts and campaigns, always aiming to make content shareable and fun.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in social media for a consumer brand or relevant portfolio work.
• Proven experience as a social media content creator with a strong focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels video production.
• Expert-level knowledge of iPhone video shooting, editing apps (e.g., CapCut, InShot, or similar), and an understanding of how to use platform tools to enhance videos.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful TikTok and Reels videos, with an emphasis on engaging, trend-driven content.
• Excellent visual storytelling and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
