About the position

The Trade Marketing Manager for Specialty Accounts at Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies tailored to fragrance and beauty product lines. This role focuses on enhancing brand presence, optimizing in-store experiences, and planning engaging events to attract new customers and strengthen retail partnerships, particularly with key accounts like Ulta and Sephora.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies specifically designed for Ulta, Sephora, and other specialty retailers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising) to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies within these accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, including Ulta and Sephora.
  • Develop and execute joint marketing initiatives and retailer-specific promotions.
  • Create and execute in-store marketing campaigns to maximize visibility and drive sales both in-store and online.
  • Optimize product placement, merchandising, and promotional displays in-stores, while enhancing online brand presence.
  • Plan and execute high-impact in-store events and external activations to engage new customers and generate brand excitement.
  • Propose and develop innovative tools and strategies to amplify brand presence and capture new market share.
  • Organize exclusive in-store events for fragrance launches, VIP previews, and interactive experiences in partnership with specialty retailers.
  • Monitor in-store and online trends, as well as the current retail environment in the US market.
  • Identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities within the beauty and fragrance sectors.
  • Utilize sales data and market insights to refine trade marketing strategies and maximize success within specialty accounts.
  • Track and manage budgets for trade marketing initiatives and tool purchases.
  • Forecast the need for tools based on sales trends, promotional activities, and market demands.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that Dolce & Gabbana's luxury image is consistently reflected across all marketing materials and in-store experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing or a related role, preferably within the fragrance or beauty industry.
  • Strong familiarity with the specialty beauty and fragrance retail landscape, particularly Ulta, Sephora, and other specialty beauty retailers.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external retail partners.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to propose and implement innovative marketing and event ideas.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
