About the position

Management Business Solutions is seeking a Temporary Accountant for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. This role focuses on Accounts Receivable and will play a key role in the Oracle/Oracle Fusion transition project. The individual will be responsible for reconciling financial records and supporting the system implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and cash flow analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting and revenue analysis.
  • Play an active role in the Oracle/Oracle Fusion system transition and implementation.
  • Support system modifications, testing, and updates.
  • Provide training and troubleshooting during the ERP transition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong experience with Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or ERP systems.
  • Experience in ERP implementation is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
