About the position

The Temporary Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Director with the daily operations of Monamos Terrace Apartments, a multifamily property. This position is responsible for managing on-site staff, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining occupancy levels, and overseeing revenue management while adhering to FPI's operational standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Director with day-to-day property operations.
• Supervise on-site staff including leasing and maintenance teams.
• Maintain positive communication with residents, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies.
• Manage occupancy levels and implement marketing strategies.
• Assist in revenue management and timely rent collections.
• Maintain resident files and ensure confidentiality.
• Document maintenance needs and follow up on requests.
• Conduct training and onboarding for new staff members.
• Promote a professional image and adhere to dress code policies.

Requirements

• Experience in affordable housing programs such as LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in Residential Property Management.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and property management software.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Google Apps and RealPage software.
