About the position

The Business Manager position at E&S Ring is a temporary, full-time role focused on overseeing property operations in Culver City, CA. The role emphasizes management skills, multitasking, and process improvement initiatives within a vibrant work environment. The Business Manager will be responsible for revenue growth, property performance, and ensuring a quality living experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all phases of the property operations.
• Manage revenue growth, timely rent collections, and overall property performance.
• Verify weekly traffic and closing ratio numbers and evaluate/analyze YS recommendations.
• Handle Yardi reporting and leasing documentation.
• Analyze financial reports and prepare monthly variance reports.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Assist in meeting revenue goals, occupancy management, and resident retention.
• Develop team members and foster growth.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree and/or minimum of 3 years' experience in property management or related experience.
• Experience in direct supervision of staff of 5 or more.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
• Sales and marketing experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a customer service environment.
• Knowledge of legal procedures for evictions in the local area.
