About the position

The Temporary Consultant/Manager for the Comptroller Department at P.I.E. Management, L.L.C. is a full-time, contract position aimed at overseeing and implementing accounting functions within a local municipality. This role is expected to last until February 2025 and requires a candidate with a strong background in auditing and accounting, particularly with experience in managing payroll, accounts payable, and internal audit functions, as well as proficiency in Oracle ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll functions and ensure timely processing.
  • Oversee accounts payable operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise internal audit functions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement accounting functions into the new Oracle ERP system.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the Comptroller department.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in accounting management.
  • 1 year of experience in payroll management.
  • 1 year of experience in accounts payable management.
  • 1 year of experience in financial auditing.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle ERP implementation and daily use.
