About the position

The Content Designer for CVM Communications and Training at Tiffany & Co. will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging custom content that meets the needs of the CVM Communication and Training teams, as well as the broader Tiffany Creative Studio department. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the aesthetics and consistency of the content produced align with the brand's standards. The Content Designer will create a variety of materials, including printed documents, digital presentations, and web-optimized content, to enhance communication and training efforts across the organization. In this position, the Content Designer will support the creation of custom content such as templates, briefs, training tools, and onboarding documents. They will work closely with the CVM Training Manager to identify opportunities for tailored training content and resources, ensuring that all materials are easily recognizable by retail teams and target audiences. Additionally, collaboration with the CVM Communications Manager will be essential to understand the specific needs for bespoke templates and design briefs that support departmental initiatives. The role also involves optimizing content for SharePoint, where the Content Designer will create custom web parts and templates to house the developed resources. They will provide recommendations to improve user experience on SharePoint pages and ensure that all custom-designed resources are accessible to relevant end users. Furthermore, the Content Designer will be tasked with creating and distributing digital presentations, utilizing software such as InDesign and PowerPoint to effectively communicate content in a visually appealing manner. The position requires maintaining an organized library of digital presentations and providing support and training to teams for onboarding onto the SharePoint platform. The Content Designer will also assist with miscellaneous projects related to the Communication and Training teams, including video and photo shoots, as well as globally led conferences and training sessions. A content tracker and set of KPIs will be established to measure the effectiveness of all tools and resources developed.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom content including templates, briefs, training tools, and onboarding documents.
  • Create a bespoke identity for department training tools to ensure easy identification by retail teams.
  • Collaborate with CVM Training Manager to understand needs for bespoke training content and development tools.
  • Partner with CVM Communications Manager to create bespoke templates and design briefs.
  • Support the development of content for globally led strategy summits, conferences, and group onboarding projects.
  • Optimize custom content for SharePoint and ensure accessibility for end users.
  • Create custom web parts and templates for SharePoint to house custom content.
  • Provide recommendations for improving UX on SharePoint pages.
  • Design and create compelling digital presentations according to departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop presentations and offer recommendations for content presentation.
  • Maintain an organized library of all digital presentations created.
  • Provide support, training, and tutorials for onboarding onto the SharePoint platform.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects related to Communication and Training teams, including video and photo shoots.

Requirements

  • Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Experience in graphic design, content design, presentation design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of composition and design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to use initiative and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in display, exhibit, or visual presentation design.
  • Familiarity with luxury retail and basic knowledge of jewelry, leather goods, eyewear, and gifts.
  • Understanding of basic production and building methods.
  • Ability to read basic floorplans, architectural elevations, and construction drawings.
