This role involves reviewing, assessing, and managing damage and shortage claims, ensuring accurate processing and maintaining detailed records of claim activities. The position is a contract opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of claim documentation and supporting materials.
• Discuss any issues with claimants to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all claims are processed accurately and within established timelines.
• Actively communicate with partner carriers and insurance companies to facilitate the claims process.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of claim processing activities.
• Manage and maintain insurance company account portfolio.
• Provide reporting upon request to support decision-making and business insights.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• College Degree required.
• Experience in data entry required.
• Technology savvy with knowledge of SAP required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain claim records.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with claimants, partner carriers, and insurance companies.
• Analytical skills to assess claims and make informed decisions.
