The Director of Sales at the Omni Grove Park Inn will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating the sales team while ensuring effective communication across departments. This position is crucial for the overall direction of the resort, focusing on managing sales expenses and striving to exceed budgeted revenues and established RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing effective business plans tailored to the assigned market segment, ensuring that the sales strategies align with the resort's objectives. In collaboration with the Marketing team, the Director will design promotional materials and digital content, leveraging all available advertising and public relations opportunities to enhance the resort's visibility and appeal. A significant emphasis will be placed on exceeding established group room revenue and Average Daily Rate (ADR) targets. The Director will also maintain key accounts to achieve business objectives and will be expected to stay informed about industry trends to provide leadership and education regarding the Leisure Segment. The role requires close collaboration with Directors of Sales and Marketing (DOSMs) to communicate new trends effectively and develop strategies that will increase revenue. The Director will manage customer relationships and decisions, directing activities through both internal and external resources. Additionally, the position involves defining and improving the customer value proposition by assessing the competitive landscape related to the segment. The Director will work with all levels of the organization to resolve complex issues, ensuring clear and concise communication throughout the process.
