Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machine to wash and sanitize dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Set up and maintain dish and pot washing areas.
• Clean production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Remove waste from buildings regularly.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, transporting, and plating.
• Attend all required in-services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
