About the position

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is seeking a temporary Project ECHO Coordinator to support the implementation and expansion of Project ECHO networks statewide. This position is housed within the UAA College of Health at the Center for Human Development (CHD), which is a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in Education, Research, and Service (UCEDD). The CHD works collaboratively with various UAA and community partners to build communities of practice that address health and wellness issues affecting Alaskans. The Project ECHO model connects health providers and professionals in underserved rural and urban communities to expert interdisciplinary teams through videoconferencing, enhancing their capacity to provide services within their own practices. The role requires a flexible, hybrid schedule, with two in-office days (Monday and Wednesday) and occasional early starts for project deliverables. The successful candidate will possess multifaceted project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and an interest in marketing. The position is temporary, expected to last until June 30, 2025, and is not anticipated to continue beyond that date. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
