Delaware County Community College (DCCC) is seeking a Temporary Event Manager to support the Athletic department, specifically focusing on game day operations. Under the guidance of the Director of Wellness, Athletics & Recreation, the Temporary Event Manager will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of game day activities. This includes scorekeeping, managing statistics, and assisting with both pre-game setup and post-game breakdown. The position requires a flexible schedule, as it may involve working evenings and traveling to select away contests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of sports statistics and record-keeping, which are crucial for the role. Additionally, the Temporary Event Manager will be tasked with training work-study students on game statistics, ensuring that they are well-prepared to assist during events. Other duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director as needed, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential for success in this position.
