About the position
The position is for a full-time, temporary nanny to care for a 3-year-old girl and her baby brother expected to arrive in mid-November. The family is looking for an energetic and warm-hearted individual to join them in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn for a six-month period. The nanny will be responsible for providing a nurturing environment and engaging activities for the children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Caring for a 3-year-old girl and a newborn baby boy.
- Engaging the toddler in fun and educational activities.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
- Maintaining a clean and organized play area.
- Communicating effectively with the parents about the children's needs and progress.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in childcare, particularly with toddlers and infants.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
- Strong communication skills with parents and children.
Nice-to-haves
- Dutch-speaking ability is a bonus but not required.
