About the position

The Temporary Graphic Designer at West Elm is responsible for providing production support to the brand's creative team. This role involves creating pixel-perfect digital collateral based on established templates and style guides, including assets for emails, social marketing, and web pages. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver assets for email, paid marketing, social, web, and other digital channels.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with art directors, marketing managers, production manager, project managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain organized production files and streamline workflows within the creative team.
  • Maintain digital template libraries and keep team members updated on new templates or guidelines.
  • Problem-solve and deliver quick turnaround on projects, often within 24 hours.
  • Strive for innovative solutions across all media channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital/Graphic Design or related field.
  • At least 2 years of digital production experience, preferably in luxury or home design.
  • Meticulously organized with careful attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 is a plus.
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the Brooklyn corporate office full-time.
