About the position

The Temporary Data Analytics/HRIS Analyst at Edward Rose & Sons is responsible for analyzing work processes, improving efficiencies, and ensuring data integrity within HR and HRIS systems. This role involves providing business systems analysis, generating reports, and supporting HRMS upgrades and technical projects. Responsibilities

  • Analyze work process design and flow to improve processes and leverage technological capabilities.
  • Provide business systems analysis best practices regarding usage implementation and integration of HR and HRIS systems.
  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for data integrity, testing system changes, and report writing.
  • Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities and support HRMS upgrades and patches.
  • Generate reports and queries, including maintaining and supporting various reports using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs and maintain data integrity in systems.
  • Coordinate to identify root causes and solutions to data integrity and system performance issues.
  • Perform system maintenance, including reviewing, testing, and implementing HRMS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes.
  • Provide production support by researching and resolving HRMS problems and recommending solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of related experience required.
  • Proficiency working with HRIS, databases, and reporting applications (UKG preferred).
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Previous Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resource Administration or related field.
