About the position

The Temporary Data Analytics/HRIS Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing work processes, improving efficiencies, and leveraging technology within the HR and HRIS systems at Edward Rose & Sons. This position involves providing business systems analysis, ensuring data integrity, and supporting HRMS upgrades and technical projects. The analyst will generate reports, assist in system maintenance, and recommend process improvements, all while collaborating with various teams to enhance system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze work process design and flow to improve processes and leverage technological capabilities.
  • Provide business systems analysis best practices regarding usage implementation and integration of HR and HRIS systems.
  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for data integrity and system changes.
  • Generate reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools, including key HR dashboards.
  • Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Coordinate to identify root causes and solutions to data integrity and system performance issues.
  • Perform system maintenance, including testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes.
  • Provide production support by researching and resolving HRMS problems and recommending solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of related experience required.
  • Proficiency working with HRIS, databases, and reporting applications (UKG preferred).
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Previous Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
