About the position

The Temporary IT Technician will provide technical support and assistance to the team at Riviera Dining Group Inc. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain experience in a dynamic environment, focusing on troubleshooting IT systems, hardware, and software issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to employees for hardware and software issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and networks.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Educate staff on best practices for using technology and software applications.
  • Work with the IT team to implement new technologies and upgrades.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in computer science or IT is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an IT support role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

  • Toast POS experience is a plus.
