Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Temporary Lead Operations Coordinator in our Houston office. This position is crucial in ensuring that an even workflow is maintained and that all duplicating and mail services needs are met. The Lead Operations Coordinator will demonstrate and promote a high level of customer service while fostering an environment conducive to teamwork among the Operations staff. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Lead Operations Coordinator will oversee coordination and assist with the workflow within the Operations Department as needed to meet deadlines and maintain quality control in all areas. This includes coordinating with other teams and departments to ensure that all necessary equipment, supplies, and services are provided to meet the needs of both internal and external clients. In the absence of the Operations Supervisor, the Coordinator will ensure the completion of all tasks and responsibilities, maintaining vendor schedules for deliveries and maintenance. Training is a key component of this role, as the Lead Operations Coordinator will provide training to build strong cross-training across the Operations teams. Daily workflow coordination will involve prioritizing copy, scanning, and other requests in the Duplicating Center, as well as interfacing with Document Processing and technology departments to ensure that the firm's scanning and imaging projects are appropriately evaluated and assigned. The Coordinator will also oversee and assist in creating, copying, labeling, and utilizing encryption software to secure data on Flash Drives, CDs, and/or DVDs, ensuring the quality of the work product. Maintaining quality control of floor copiers to ensure maximum productivity is another critical responsibility. The Lead Operations Coordinator will coordinate and assist with preventative maintenance and vendor service calls, as well as perform special projects as assigned. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to generate a large volume of work, and the capability to make sound decisions in the absence of clear instructions. The role demands excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
