About the position

The Temporary Leasing Agent at Guardian Management will be responsible for conducting day-to-day leasing activities at Windsor Square, a senior independent living community. This role focuses on maintaining positive relations with residents and prospects, ensuring the upkeep of vacant units, and adhering to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws. The position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day leasing activities for the property.
• Maintain positive resident and prospective relations.
• Ensure good physical appearance and maintenance of vacant units.
• Coordinate cleaning and repairs of vacant units with Executive Director and Maintenance Staff.
• Lease in compliance with applicable government programs and Fair Housing laws.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports on time.
• Greet and tour prospects, answering questions about the property.
• Inspect model unit and available units, communicating service needs to the Executive Director.
• Complete applications with prospects and secure deposits according to company procedures.
• Negotiate move-in dates and ensure units are ready by those dates.
• Administer leasing efforts including reviewing tenant billings and preparing vacancy reports.
• Manage resident relations and respond to inquiries effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing, or a college degree in a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong technology and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
