About the position

The Temporary Maintenance Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient data management within the maintenance department of a pioneering company focused on transforming biosolids and manure into carbon-negative commodities and clean water. This role is crucial for supporting the company's mission of sustainable waste transformation through meticulous data entry and management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transpose information from various sources into a designated database or spreadsheet.
• Identify nameplate data from machinery.
• Regularly review and ensure data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
• Enter parts inventory, including quantities, descriptions, and locations.
• Contact equipment vendors for pertinent information for populating the CMMS.
• Request information from design engineers for specific systems and/or equipment data.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Input data into the CMMS database.

Requirements

• Previous data entry experience, especially in a technical or industrial setting (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance management software (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
