About the position
Verdant Specialty Solutions is looking for a Temporary Material Handler for a 6 month assignment. This position will be responsible for many functions within materials management that support the overall handling, storing, and shipping of specialty chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations and use all proper PPE when at this facility.
- Read and sign 'Job Safety Analyses' daily prior to starting work each day.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and warehouse.
- Read and understand blend instructions on 'Blend Sheet'.
- Retrieve raw materials from inventory using forklift.
- Off-load drums and tanks from delivery trucks using forklift.
- Assist with conducting inventory when necessary.
- Transfer chemical from mixing tank to tote tanks and drums using transfer pumps.
- Properly label chemical products for shipping.
