About the position

The Temporary Office Assistant will support the Office of Admissions at Georgia Southern University by performing clerical duties and assisting with the coordination of group visits and daily tours. This part-time position is designed to provide essential administrative support while contributing to the university's mission of student success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and coordination of group visits
  • Assist with outreach to potential students
  • Give daily information sessions
  • Assist with office mailings
  • Assist with maintaining tour calendars and updates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
  • Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
  • Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
