The Temporary Paralegal position in Stamford, CT, is a full-time role designed to support attorneys in various legal tasks, particularly in the field of Marketing and Advertising law. Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Organize and maintain legal files and documents
• Prepare and file legal documents with the court system
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
• Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
• Manage calendars and schedule appointments for attorneys
• Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, and handling mail

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required
• At least five (5) years related law firm or in-house experience in Marketing and Advertising law
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
• Excellent time management, communications, decision making
