About the position
The Temporary Project Assembly Associate (TPAA) at XPDEL is responsible for assembling Storm Doors into frames for shipment, working collaboratively in a two-person team. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The TPAA will play a crucial role in preparing items for delivery, ensuring efficiency and safety in the assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Assemble items as part of a two-person team, working together to fulfill daily quotas.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, completing all safety training and assessments.
- Conduct quality control inspections of products.
- Perform kitting and labeling of products as projects reach completion.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented, reliable, organized, forward-thinking, proactive, and approachable.
- Comfortable using hand-held power tools safely, such as cordless drills and screwdrivers.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds, with doors weighing approximately 130 pounds once fully assembled.
