About the position
The Temporary Project Assembly Associate (TPAA) role at XPDEL involves working on the warehouse floor to assemble Storm Doors into frames for shipment. This position is crucial for preparing items for delivery while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will work as part of a two-person team, ensuring that daily quotas are met and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble items as part of a two-person team to fulfill daily quotas.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, completing all necessary safety training and assessments.
- Conduct quality control inspections of products.
- Perform kitting and labeling of products as projects reach completion.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and approachable demeanor.
- Comfortable using hand-held power tools safely, such as cordless drills and screwdrivers.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds, with doors weighing approximately 130 pounds once fully assembled.
Nice-to-haves
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
