About the position

The Temporary Sales Associate at Coach plays a crucial role in enhancing the store's success by delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. This position involves upholding the brand's service and selling models, creating positive customer experiences, and maintaining operational standards. The Sales Associate is expected to build lasting relationships with customers while effectively managing sales strategies and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Coach's Service and Selling Models to create a positive customer experience.
  • Drive sales through clienteling and sourcing new customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and backroom according to Coach standards.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and communicate current pricing and promotional strategies to customers.
  • Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons based on customer needs.
  • Follow up with customers to influence and close sales effectively.
  • Support store inventory processes and assist with cash-wrap operations as needed.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing business needs and welcome feedback for improvement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the ability to use mobile POS systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Physical ability to maneuver the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
