About the position

The Senior or Lead Tax Accountant position at Slalom focuses on supporting the company's global tax compliance efforts as it expands internationally. This role involves preparing data for various tax returns and assisting with foreign tax compliance, while also participating in team-wide processes and special projects. The position offers a collaborative environment within the Global Services team, which includes various corporate functions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of data for various tax returns, including VAT/GST, income tax, property tax, and others
• Preparation of tax accrual and tax provision calculations, journal entries, and tax account reconciliations
• Participation in special projects, developmental opportunities, and cross-functional support as part of a highly collaborative team

Requirements

• A strong foundation of accounting and/or tax knowledge
• Strong proficiency using Oracle ERP/accounting systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools to obtain required data for tax purposes
• A desire to learn and leverage automation tools including Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and others
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
