About the position

The Temporary Service Lead at Burberry is responsible for daily supervision of the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving sales goals. This role involves real-time performance coaching and fostering a high-performing, customer-oriented team environment that aligns with Burberry's brand strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, assist and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor.
  • Partner with associates to improve selling skills and achieve sales goals and KPIs.
  • Lead a customer-facing team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent service.
  • Manage customer flow to ensure no client is left unattended and set service standards.
  • Drive collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations team.
  • Provide immediate coaching after transactions and client interactions to discuss successes and opportunities.
  • Develop and retain talent through performance recognition and development plans.
  • Lead by example in delivering the Burberry Experience to customers.
  • Collaborate with management to take ownership of Burberry Experience training in the store.
  • Set goal expectations in partnership with store management and deliver performance feedback.
  • Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Process post-void transactions and authorize discounts in the absence of store management.
  • Enhance the digital experience in-store and communicate effectively using digital resources.
  • Understand business needs and communicate ideas for improvement.
  • Follow and enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of POS system.
  • Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and digital tools.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
