Responsibilities

• Drive various forklift truck products for standard tests.
• Work in an Engineering Lab environment to build prototype components/material handling vehicles using hand and power tools.
• Set up and operate/drive test equipment, vehicles, prototypes, fixtures, or products for standard tests as well as new and unusual tests.
• Perform tests per defined procedures.
• Record test data manually and transfer manual notes and observations into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
• Work in both a team and individual environment.
• Communicate issues to other technicians, engineers, and managers to support teamwork and timely project completion.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma.
• Basic hand tool and assembly experience/knowledge.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and dependable.
• Basic computer understanding (use of Microsoft products).

Nice-to-haves

• Previous forklift experience.
• 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Basic electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Benefits

• Wage of $18.50 per hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
