Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality courses aligned with the School of Nursing's mission and curriculum.
- Foster student academic and professional growth.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation.
- Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Seek and secure external funding through grants or other sources.
- Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the school's governance.
- Engage in university-wide service activities and serve the community.
- Participate in professional organizations at local, regional, or national levels.
- Continuously enhance teaching skills and pedagogical knowledge.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in nursing.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Idaho or Nursing compact states by the starting date of employment.
- Competence in a specific clinical practice area.
Nice-to-haves
- A defined area of research and evidence of scholarly dissemination.
- At least two years of experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, research, and service.
- Online, Hybrid, or Simulation teaching experience.
