About the position

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan is seeking applications for a full-time term law clerk position to support Bankruptcy Judge-Designate Paul R. Hage in Detroit. This role is critical in assisting the judge with various legal tasks, including research, drafting opinions, and managing case files. The law clerk will be expected to engage in comprehensive legal research and analysis, providing insights that will aid in the decision-making process of the court. Responsibilities

  • Assist Bankruptcy Judge-Designate Paul R. Hage with legal research and analysis.

  • Attend court proceedings and provide support as needed.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
