About the position
The Terminal Manager at AM Home Delivery Group is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Final Mile Distribution Center in Tampa, FL. This role involves managing warehouse operations, supervising delivery teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer satisfaction goals. The position offers excellent growth potential and requires experience in appliance installation and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all operations for the warehouse and terminal.
- Supervise installation teams, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee the installation of appliances, troubleshooting and resolving installation-related issues.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for installation and maintenance of appliances.
- Maintain inventory of installation tools and equipment, initiating replacement or repair as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Supervise loading of all outbound trucks for deliveries and receive in all truck loads directly from corporate and regional distribution centers.
- Manage inventory and damage returns, and prepare labels as needed.
- Schedule maintenance for all assigned trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- Valid non-CDL driver's license.
- Appliance installation experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Focused on safety.
- Regular, full attendance is essential to job function.
