About the position

The Termite Technician position at Rentokil involves performing termite treatment services safely and effectively, while adhering to company guidelines and standard practices. The role requires identifying termite problems, communicating with customers about conditions conducive to termite activity, and executing treatment procedures. Technicians must also maintain their equipment and vehicles in good working order, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines.
• Identify customer's termite problems and understand termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Communicate critical conditions to customers that may lead to termite activity and discuss supplemental procedures.
• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, and climb over and on top of structures as needed.
• Use application and inspection equipment, small hand tools, and power hammer drills.
• Tolerate various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather and damp or dusty locations.
• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicle in a clean and functional state.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility with working hours, including Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses/certificates as per regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment background screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
